man, this has been such a fun day at work! we had these little market parties for the younger kids, where they got to "buy" things with their point cards (which they get for good behavior and/or answering questions) and practice saying "how much is it?" and "I'll take it."
then, just now with ryan and sean, (two of the 13 year old boys) I did a cell-phone improv exercise and it was the most fun I've had teaching so far. I felt like I was back at camp playing drama games. they got so into it. a couple of the "phone calls" went on for over five minutes. and they didn't even break out of english once. I swear, both of these kids should be comedians, because if they were able to be that funny doing improv in english, I'm sure they are even better in korean. this is the kind of day when I know that I'm meant to be working with kids. I don't even feel like I've been working all day, just hanging out with some really hilarious little people and getting paid for it.
